I read this post:

http://unfuddle.com/community/forums/5/topics/300

and tried the suggest approach. The result was that I don’t see multiple repositories associated with the new project, but I do see the desired repository marked as Associated in the Repository Settings page. I did wait the suggested two minutes before I verified that the repository is not accessible from the project Repositories page.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

update: Never mind. It turns out that I had to go to the other project and associate the repository to the new project. There seems to be some interaction requiring one to associate repositories to new projects from older projects. Or that is what it seemed happened.

So if you follow the directions in http://unfuddle.com/community/forums/5/topics/300 and failed to see the repository associated properly with the new project, try associating the repository to the new project from within an old project (by editing the repository from the old project). This might fix the issue.
