I really like this mylyn connector. One of the problems is that the severity, component, and version aren’t getting persisted when I submit through the connector. If I set these values through the website, the values then get synchronized correctly.

Justin,

I can confirm that this is a bug in the connector. I’ve identified the cause and we will be deploying the fix in the next few days along with some other patches that we had to address.

Thank you for pointing this issue out. If you happen to find any other issues or have any other comments about it, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Kind Regards,

Andronic

Justin,

Please know that the changes have been deployed and the mylyn connector updated to a newer version: 1.0.1.201003110130 that fixes the following issues:

- Fixes an issue where the following fields would not update their values: Component, Severity, Version and the third Custom Field when set to the “text” disposition.

- Changed JRE requirements to 1.5 (requirement for Adobe Flex, Zend Studio, etc).

Using eclipse helios 3.6 this problem persists or reappeared. At least with the componenet field. I only have 1.0.1 installed, but got it from the update site. I’ll try the manual download instead

Sorry, I meant 1.0.0(.201009211700 to be axact) instead of 1.0.1 in the post above. There is no chance that the eclipse 3.5. connector could work in 3.6. Did this fix find its way into the 3.6 variant?
