BUMP.

We still need this functionality.

If you can't modify the date picker, then simply add a checkbox on the right, saying "Remove Due Date" (which effectively ignores whatever in the date picker -- and disables it).

# Go to ticket report
# Select a few tickets with due dates
# Click "Update..."
# On Due Date field, you can choose either a new due date or "no change", but not "No Due Date", i.e. you cannot make the due date field empty

Hendy,

This is confirmed. Unfortuantely, this is a limitation of the current date picker widget that we are using. We will definitely add your use case to our list to help in designing the next generation date picker.

Thanks!

I'm surprised this is still an issue after 2.5 years. You already have the functionality in the date picker: when editing a single ticket, you can choose the "No Due Date" option in the bottom left of the picker. But when you use the batch Change Attributes interface that option turns to "No Change" which has the same functionality as Cancel. Simply copy and paste the code for "No Due Date" to the batch date picker and you're done. Pretty please?

Slaing and Hendy,

This is now possible. One can now remove ticket due dates as expected from within the ticket reports.
